Holograms and flashing fans are just two of our highlights from DCW 2019!
The eleventh staging of Data Centre World certainly didn’t disappoint. More than 20,000 IT professionals descended on ExCeL London for a ‘Magnificent 7’ co-hosted events covering everything from blockchain and cloud, to cybersecurity and AI.
It’s fair to say a sizeable proportion of those delegates must have paid our new stand a visit! Footfall over the two days was fairly flowing, to say the least.
Lots of visitors wanted to speak about our sector-leading extended warranty. We now offer a 5-year guarantee on all UPS up to and including 3 kVA. That’s more than double the industry norm.
As always with these sorts of trade shows, our on-stand demo products were a huge talking point. Perhaps even more so this year than previously.
That’s because we kitted them out with special illuminated fans, bringing a touch of colour to proceedings. It certainly showed our Multi Power (MPW), NextEnergy (NXE), and Sentinel Dual (SDU) UPS in a new light!
6th Generation Data Centre – Powering The Future
This is DCW 2019’s showcase for all the innovative ideas and technologies that are pushing forward the next phase of data centre development.
Naturally, Riello UPS was at the forefront of this exciting new concept.
Our General Manager Leo Craig participated in an expert panel titled ‘Powering the Data Centre of the Future’. Leo and other leading lights from the industry discussed hot topics such as fuel cells and renewable energy.
Arguably the most eye-catching part of the entire ‘6th Generation’ aspect of the show was our striking hologram explaining how smart grid-ready UPS fit into our evolving energy mix.
You can catch a glimpse of the hologram at around 00:12 in this brief clip from the show organisers.
