The Riello UPS team has stepped up to the challenge of helping to save the lives of people with blood cancer.
The UK subsidiary of Europe’s leading UPS manufacturer will this year support the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, which works to match individuals willing to donate bone marrow or blood stem cells to people needing lifesaving transplants.
To kick off this year’s fundraising mission, Riello UPS’ General Manager Leo Craig will be tackling the Hastings Half Marathon in March.
In July, the Sales team will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours.
“At Riello UPS we’re always ready to step up to a challenge, and we’re passionate about fundraising for worthwhile causes.
“Over the years we’ve raised lots for various different charities, but this year all of our fundraising efforts will be focused on this one important cause.
“We’ve already started our efforts, and look forward to announcing other events and activities as part of this.”
– Leo Craig, General Manager of Riello UPS
On average, 70 people a day in the UK are diagnosed with a blood cancer. Anthony Nolan also carries out cutting-edge scientific research as well as funding specialist post-transplant nurses and supporting patients and their families throughout the transplant process and beyond.
