Our intrepid team put their best paddles forward and stormed to success in a charity boat race, raising vital funds in the fight against cancer.
A team of twenty from Riello UPS reached the final of the 2016 Chester Dragon Boat Festival. Competing under the moniker ‘Riello River Raiders’, our guys and girls took to the River Dee.
We powered our way through preliminary races to reach the final four. Unfortunately, the grand final was a race too far, with Ellis Williams Architects emerging victorious.

Cancer Research UK is the world’s largest independent cancer research charity. Founded in 2002 after the merger of the Cancer Research Campaign and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, it conducts ground-breaking research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease.
The organisation’s work is almost entirely funded by the general public through fundraising and legacies.
